Love Everything

Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love.

– Fyodor Dostoyevsky

  1. It’s difficult to do this when you are trying to stop people from killing the beautiful animals you love. It’s one thing to understand these words as a concept but they are often difficult to remember when faced with reality. I can easily love everyTHING, just not everyone. Not going to happen. I would feel like a doormat if I loved people who were cruel and vicious. Killers and violent people who destroy with intent. I would feel as if I were part of the problem, giving them my approval. Can’t do that. The best I can do is stand in front of them and feel nothing at all.
